It took eleven editions, but Four Tet is finally coming to GALA. The London festival has revealed the first wave of its 2027 lineup, and his name sits right at the top, ending one of the longer waits in the festival’s history. He’s not arriving alone, either. DJ Harvey, Antal & HUNEE, HAAi, Egyptian Lover and a healthy list of others are already confirmed, and the festival says this is only the start.
This year’s theme is The House We Keep, a nod to house music’s early days in Chicago and New York clubs. In practice, that means three days in Peckham Rye Park where each one has a personality of its own.

Friday is the heavy one. Four Tet plays alongside Shy FX, Skin On Skin, Benji B & Judah, Oppidan and Introspekt, while Rinse FM, Deviation, HVYWGHT and BORN N BRED take over stages. If you like your bass felt in the chest, plan to arrive early.
Saturday turns things up a notch. HAAi, Angel D’lite, Peach and Ogazon & Ryan Elliott are on the bill, plus Egyptian Lover, who has been making electro sound effortlessly cool since the eighties. Adonis, London’s much-loved queer party, brings its open-air takeover back to the park, with Peach’s Dreamland and FWEAKY running stages nearby.
Then there’s Sunday, which reads like someone built it specifically for people who live for long, warm house and disco sets. Antal & HUNEE, Chez Damier, Soichi Terada, Gene On Earth, Louise Chen and Moxie all play. Amsterdam’s own Rush Hour returns for a takeover, so you’ll find a little piece of home in south London. And DJ Harvey takes over the Pleasure Dome with DJ Harvey & Friends, which might be the most tempting sentence in the whole announcement. Prosumer, Verraco and TraTraTrax are confirmed too, with more names landing in early 2027.

Beyond the music, GALA keeps putting real effort into how people are treated on its dancefloors. Its Mutual Future wellbeing strategy with Don’t Be A Creep continues, as does its fundraising for the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers.
Presale tickets go on sale Friday 30 October at 10:00 UK time (11:00 in Amsterdam). Registration is open now at thisisgala.co.uk.
