One of our favourite weekends of the year just passed: Dekmantel in the Amsterdamse Bos. We danced, we got rained on, we screamed at our friends from across the crowd. You know the drill.
This year, Chiara captured a few fragments, the small stuff that makes a weekend like this stay with you: muddy moments, strangers becoming friends, the set that made someone cry, and no one asked why.
In a time where connection can feel like a luxury, being together like this, sweating, moving, not talking too much, feels oddly rebellious. Despite the bipolar weather and semi-feral winds, the energy was real. And the curation? Amazing. From scenography to lineup, the details were immaculate.
Scroll through for the flickers we’re holding onto, even if everything’s a bit blurry now.
P.S. Our DMs are always open for anonymous submissions. If you kissed your ex, lost your ID, or found your new personality: we want to know. Especially if it happened at Dekmantel.
