Aa Editors’ Picks: Fall 2025

Fall has landed in Amsterdam: the air feels crisper, the days a little shorter, and everything seems to slow just enough to notice the shift. The city swaps iced coffees for hot lattes, rooftops for living rooms, and the rush of summer for something cozier.

Our criteria for this season are simple: does it spark joy? does it serve a purpose? does it make life, practically or conceptually, a little easier? These are the small comforts, upgrades, and thoughtful indulgences getting us through the months ahead.

Awa’s Picks

  1. Le Labo Osmanthus 19 – from €145 Le Labo’s Kyoto city exclusive feels like a ritual in a bottle: a little meditation of scent. Think amber with woody, floral undertones that linger like memory. It smells like a dream you don’t want to wake up from: unique, gentle, and special. Since it’s only available internationally for one month each year, my year-round go-to has to be Rose 31: subdued, fun, and just as unforgettable.
  2. ASICS Gel Cumulus 16 – €150 Moving to Amsterdam has made me the closest thing to a sneakerhead I’ll ever be. This season, I’m leaning fully into the reds-and-purples of it all. The Gel-Cumulus 16 just made its long-awaited comeback, resurfacing from the ASICS archive for the first time, and it’s as good as it gets.
  3. Pat McGrath Blush Stick in Forbidden Fleur – €33 I love a good blush, and this really deep shade just screams fall to. Romantic, a little playful, and perfect to bring some life back into my face, as the summer tan is bidding its farewell. Perfect to just throw in your bag, it’s blendable and makes for a great lip color as well.
  4. Lack of Guidance Oliver track pants – €160 THE Perfect track pants. We all know I love a good mustard green, but this dark brown is the perfect shade for the colder months ahead. As I have a tiered approach to this season (in terms of layering) they are perfect, as you can sneak in some heattech to wear under them.
  5. aiayu socks – €20 I love being an adult, and I’m pretty sure that realization coincided with my newfound obsession with the perfect sock, and aiayu’s is exactly that. Made from the softest, most durable material, they strike the perfect balance between cozy and structured. There’s something about their subtle firmness that just feels… reassuring. My emotional support sock this fall.
  6. Cristophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask – €51 This mask is pure magic in a jar. It brings dull, tired hair back to life without weighing it down: soft, shiny, and healthy in just one wash. Enriched with prickly pear oil, it smells incredible and feels like a mini salon treatment every time I use it. My go-to ritual when my hair (and honestly, I) need a reset.

Chiara’s Picks

  1. MOEBE Key Ring Stainless Steel – €20 Ever been late and found yourself rummaging through your bag for your keys, already assuming the worst? Same. I used to toss my keys into whatever bag I felt like carrying that day — always a total chaos. Luckily, I stumbled upon this stainless steel key ring at Misc Store. It’s spared me countless pre-departure panics and makes me feel, dare I say, put together. A tiny object that turned out to be unexpectedly life changing!
  2. Studio Dilardic Dragon Mug – €80 TBH, there’s not much to say — if you’re a mug lover, collector, or obsessor, you’ll get it. If not… I hate to break it to you, but you’re seriously missing out on this one.
  3. Sina Ginger Candy – €2 Last fall, I discovered these candies at an Asian store on Zeedijk, and they’ve been a cold-season staple ever since. At just two euros a pack, they’re an absolute steal! Do not miss out, and make sure to share them with your friends x
  4. Dr. Martens x Rick Owens Collab – €370 Over the years, I’ve broken through countless mid-season and winter shoes which most of them were biting the dust by early January. But my Dr. Martens 1460 that I got when I was 16? Still undefeated. When the Rick Owens Collab dropped, it came at the perfect time. I was on the hunt for boots with character that would last at least a decade and feel worth every penny. So, in case you’re still looking for a pair of boots for every season and every occasion, these ones could become a wardrobe essential for years to come.

Anastasia’s Picks

  1. AM.PM Nourishing Face Oil – €38,50 I’m all about keeping my skincare routine as minimal as possible — this 100% raspberry pit oil removes makeup, cleanses the skin, and hydrates, all in one step!
  2. Idea. Ltd Here I Am Cap Black – €49.54 Fall really came in with a statement — and now, so can you! Perfect for hiding those undereye bags and that overworked face, while sparking little smiles and sometimes even a compliment or two when you arrive.
  3. Dyson Omega™ hydrating hair oil – €52 For wavy, sometimes curly, and definitely unruly hair like mine, Amsterdam’s humidity is the ultimate nightmare. I’ve learned that a good hair oil is essential to looking at least somewhat put together. Since boycotting my last go-to hair oil, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect replacement — and the Dyson hair oil has proven to be the one. The shine and control it brings to your hair with just three drops are truly unparalleled.
  4. Bababoys Whatsapp Sticker Longsleeve – €75 Bababoys makes it into every editor’s picks for two main reasons: 1) They literally have the best tech pack — their oversized cuts fit petite (I hate that word) girls like me perfectly. 2) Karmel is the realest one! This has definitely been my most-worn top this fall. The screen print is super high-quality, the design is effortlessly cool, the 100% cotton feels amazing, and it’s perfect for those in-between days when it’s not too hot but not too cold either.
  5. East Pacific Trade – Diego Brown / Pink – €160 Finding sneakers that look super cool, are incredibly comfortable, can be dressed up or down, and haven’t been plastered across every single Pinterest board on the planet might seem impossible — but it’s actually not. I’m betting on the EPT Diego sneakers to be the next cool silhouette for those who know, and this colourway just screams fall.
  6. Samsøe Samsøe Salot Trousers  – €102 A couple of weeks ago, I found myself short on trousers — my closet was overflowing with jeans, cargo pants, and what not, but something was missing every time I got dressed. Then I discovered the Salot trousers: slightly oversized but tailored to accentuate all the right places, warm enough to get you through the coldest fall nights, and so versatile you can wear them with either sneakers or heels. These trousers have become an essential part of my wardrobe, and honestly, I wish I had them in every single color.
  7. Dr. Martens Zebzag boot – €180,00 The campaign for the newest Dr. Martens Zebzag boot was called The Art of Comfort—and they weren’t exaggerating. It’s the perfect boot to slip into and run around in, without ever having to worry about discomfort.

Xx,
