Last Friday, we transformed Contra into a dining room of delightful chaos – to celebrate Lunch Concept Store’s final pop-up in Amsterdam, and one of our favorite festivities: Halloween.
We started the evening with a long-table dinner with a special menu prepared for the occasion by chef Maxence of Contra. Panna Studio, transformed the space into what looked like the aftermath of a hedonistic dinner party – smashed cakes, wine stains, fallen chandeliers setting the tone for the party that followed. Special cocktails by Sokół Vodka eased us into the night.
Our guests showed up and dressed up, with outfits ranging from our favorite condiments like broccoli to the iconic Samantha covered in Sushi in Sex and the City. The after-dinner aprty opened with a live band programmed by Contra, ater which LUNCH brought DIJA and Emssoleil from Ireland and Rotterdam to sound track the night while Aa Crowd-favorite MISA closed off the night.
