Carhartt WIP has dropped its Fall/Winter 2026 Preview Collection, and if the name does not ring a bell, here is how it works: released each May and November, the Preview Collections sit between the main seasonal drops, giving you an early look at where the brand is heading. This one arrives with a clear focus on fabric, finish, and the results speak for themselves. 

The standout is the new destroy wash, which appears on some of Carhartt WIP’s most iconic pieces: the OG Chore Coat, the Women’s OG Arcan Jacket, and the OG Double Knee Pant. The process combines hand-finishing techniques with subtle abrasions along seams and hems, meaning no two pieces come out exactly the same. The same spirit carries into denim and jersey, with hand-thrown paint splatters and fades added into the mix. Beyond the destroy wash, there is a lot going on. The Madison Jacket returns in a garment-dyed cotton ripstop, joined by cargo pants, shorts, and the new Manderson Jacket, which pulls from both field jacket and chore coat references. The Brader Blazer takes that idea further, reworking the chore coat silhouette into a tailored suit jacket with notched lapels and a three-button front. It is the kind of piece that Carhartt WIP does well: functional enough to feel grounded, refined enough to wear anywhere. 

Colour-wise, heavyweight jersey comes in deep, dusky garment-dyed shades, with the woven Square Label going murky in the process. The new duck feather print is worth a look too: an abstract take on traditional camo using earthy, layered tones that actually resemble plumage. Snake camo also returns this season, exclusive to the women’s collection as a laser print on a shirt and double-knee shorts.
