What to do this weekend in Amsterdam: July 24

TGIT. Thank God It’s Thursday. Or, as we like to say, Team Gathering Involving Tomfoolery.

We’ve made it past hump day, as the millennials like to call it, and we’re officially thirsty. Thirsty for sunshine. Thirsty for little dances that accidentally become big ones. Thirsty for crispy drinks, excellent bites, unnecessary detours, and errupting laughter that makes everyone at the next table look over.

Need plans? Fear not. Your thirst shall be quenched.

One small obstacle. The Odyssey has officially landed in cinemas, meaning a suspicious number of your friends will be unavailable for approximately three and a half hours this weekend. We respect it. Christopher Nolan, Greek mythology and enough discourse to last until September? Count us in.

Luckily, you’ll have plenty to unpack over drinks afterwards. Tom Holland is somehow allegedly 17. Travis Scott apparently opens the film. And we’re still trying to figure out who was calling their parents “Mom” and “Dad” in 800 BC.

As much as we love Christopher Nolan, this weekend we’re taking a page out of Odysseus’ book and embarking on our own adventure through Amsterdam. Slightly fewer cyclopes, hopefully.
