On The Move lifts off in Amsterdam: Walking on clouds with ASICS

We crossed the IJ for ASICS’ opening night at NDSM, where the cloud came alive with DJ sets, drinks and a fiercely contested game of pétanque — all while the new GEL NYC 2.0 made its rounds. Here’s our photo report from inside the launch of On The Move.

Last night, ASICS officially set On The Move in motion at NDSM.

We crossed the IJ to see what was happening inside the cloud, and found plenty of familiar faces, big laughs, DJ sets, a surprisingly competitive game or two of pétanque and, naturally, the new GEL NYC 2.0 making its rounds.

Between the music, drinks and questionable pétanque technique, the cloud quickly became a pretty good place to kick off the weekend. We were on the scene to capture it all.

Missed last night? You’re in luck. On The Move is open to the public today and tomorrow at NDSM Loods, from 10:00 to 18:00. You can try the GEL NYC 2.0, play pétanque, grab a coffee and even enter for a chance to win a pair.
